Ruby Ruby Ruby

These are just a bunch of random pictures of Ruby. She is always cracking me up with her outfits and her confident poses before the camera. LOL! Ruby has just started sleeping in her big girl bed (she slept on the floor for 2 years in the boy's room), but keeps falling out of her bed every night. Apparently she woke up UNDER her bed last night and came into my room all freaked out. Ruby is such a good friend to all her little girlfriends and is very good to Lily even though Lily doesn't always deserve it. We are working on not complaining when asked to do her chores and not whining and crying so much. The latter has actually gotten a LOT better because if she does cry excessively then she has to take a nap (doesn't like naps). She also lost a day of playing with her friends the other day for complaining when asked to pick up her room. That instantly cured her of that! :) Lately she has been asking me to straighten her hair. She thinks it makes her face look "so different", and according to Andrew, "Thomas is going to want to mary her now"! Kids are so funny. Ruby still loves her dog named Sassy and is lately very into her princess barbies that she got for Christmas. What's nice about Ruby is that she can entertain herself for hours, with or without friends. Today she asked me if I'd visit her every day when she was a mom! I said of course I would if she lived in my neighborhood! :) She looks forward to the day that she can go to the gym with me and get lunch afterward. I look forward to that too, but I'm definitely not wishing these days away. She is so precious at age four! I adore you Ruby!!!
