House on Sandcastle Drive

Before leaving for my summer trip to Utah I attempted renting out my house for a week. So close but no cigar. These are just a few pictures that I took for the add on Craigslist. Thought I'd throw them in my blog as a reference and a memory for it won't be long before I'm looking back in time....remembering....

Turquoise, I love you.

That really cool fish is from my Aunt Sunny's store on Cedros Street--the "Design District" in Solana Beach. She is so talented.

This kitchen is a labor of love. My dad came and spent a week tearing out the old cabinets and installing the new with the help of his young apprentice, Yannick. He also did all the electrical work in the house, installing fourtysomething cans. Dad, you are one of my heroes. :)

  1. I love your house so much! It is so well done and pulled together.....you would never know four little kiddos live there, but the house is just perfect for them too. How do you do it? Are you guys considering moving sometime soon or something? It sounded like you were suggesting that you may be leaving Sandcastle Dr.

Miss you guys....would still love to come down your way for a visit, maybe even over a weekend. Hope you guys are doing well.
